Get
your box! |
Check
that everything's there. |
Grease
and line the baking container. |

Empty
the dry ingredients into a bowl and give them a mix. |
Beat
1 egg with a little liquid. |
Add
the egg and the contents of the molasses sachet to the bowl. |

Give
it all a good old stir! |
Spoon
the mixture into the lined container and bake for 45 minutes. |
Allow
to cool on a wire tray then remove from container. |

The
Verdict - we found it very easy to make, and great
fun too. Okay, so ours didn't look exactly like
the professionally made one on the box, but we were still
really pleased with ourselves. The baked cake can be stored
in the fridge for up 3 weeks or even frozen. All in all
we think this is a fantastic idea and we'll be baking another
one soon. |
Add
the ribbon, flower and gift tag. |
Cut
into pieces as required. |
