The training
clicker is a small plastic box with a metal tongue that makes
a distinctive sound when pressed.
A click
becomes a clear signal to your dog for doing something right.
The training clicker can be incorporated into any training
exercise. Once the dog has responded correctly to a command
such as "sit", "heel", "down"
or "come", press the clicker once and reward your
dog immediately with a treat. Repeating this exercise quickly
teaches your dog that his response to a command has been correct.
Dogs are
highly sound sensitive, so set the tone/volume by sliding
the adjustable control to the desired and most suitable position
for your dog.
